basket full o'love

it all started in a little co-op with big bulk bins…and shelves of take one, leave one containers for using or contributing to. as we stocked our kitchens + bathrooms, we found a love for the lack of recurrent waste, the community feel of shared buying, and honestly, the beauty.

we have carried this practice into the decade plus that has lapsed since, by way of buying bulk with friends & family — twenty-five pound bags of salt, flour from the local mill, clays, and whatnot — as well as ordering on behalf of one another to consolidate shipping. then, one fine summer day, an idea was born: integral home collective ~ a curated selection of pleasing & practical tools for home-making + home-enjoying; instruments for making magic out of the mundane. finding ourselves smitten with & inspired by all the ways that tending our homes gave way to rhythm + ritual, we created this offering to weave the fibers of a collective yearning for seasonal anchors into a fabric of tangible practices bringing it into our dwellings.
our first order!! summer 2021
as homemakers ourselves, we are passionate about handmade, small batch, locally crafted goods, and we have sought out high quality, low impact tools of the trade. we tried, tested, (tried again), and loved many of the essentials we offer in our shop today. we find purpose + value in the influence of a group of people voting with their dollars, and applying our individual purchasing power, collectively, is an action step toward creating the world we wish to leave for our children. allocating resources in ways that benefit the earth, economy (especially locally), and small businesses with shared ethics is foundational to our vision. we cherish the makers & doers who are living in alignment with their values + doing their heart’s work, and we are proud to offer provisions made with love by real people
